What a wonderful week we had on our Quest for Truth. We dug into The Word with Dakota Joe and Digger and learned many truths and found evidence about Jesus. We had yummy snacks, and crafty crafts. It was truly a wonderful week.

On the first day Our Quest for Truth taught us that “Jesus is our Promised Savior” we were reminded of our savior’s birth through bible stories, Christmas Decoration crafts, and Angel cheese and crackers.

The second day of our Quest taught us that Jesus is God’s Son. This was taught through the bible story about Jesus’ baptism. We ate “3 in 1” snacks with celery carrots and Cream cheese, to remind us of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Day three of Quest for Truth taught us how Jesus shows mercy. We learned about Jesus healing the ten lepers and the one man with a grateful heart returned to praise God with a loud voice and bowed at Jesus’ feet. We ate “thank you trail mix” with ten ingredients to remind us of the story.

On the fourth day we learned about the living truth of Jesus; that Jesus died and Rose to save sinners. We talked about how the stone was rolled away and Jesus’ tomb was empty. We learned about how the angels told the women that He had risen! He is alive! And the women hurried to tell the truth to His friends.

The last day of our Quest was powerful. We learned that Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit. We also learned that the Holy Spirit was gave the disciples the strength and courage to tell others about Jesus.

It was a very successful quest for truth. I was so happy to have shared so many wonderful truths with such wonderful children. If you missed our Quest for Truth this year, there’s always next year! Keep in mind,we will be hosting another vacation bible school program next summer. If you are interested in getting involved, contact Angel Weber. Please note the names of the children that attended and maybe ask them about their quest for truth. Also, please note the people that helped and were involved with our Quest for Truth. They were such gracious volunteers that worked hard and were wonderful stewards of Christianity and our congregation.

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
